SnapCard — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

SnapCard ("the extension") is a browser extension for capturing parts of web pages as images, hiding private information, annotating them, and turning them into step-by-step guides. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes.

Summary

What the extension stores on your device

All of this is removed when you uninstall the extension.

What the extension reads from pages

SnapCard needs access to the pages you capture. It reads a page only after you start a capture on it, to let you select an area, edit text, blur private data and take the screenshot. It does not record your browsing history and does not send page content anywhere.

The debugger permission is used only for phone/tablet preview and HD capture, and only while that feature is running. Chrome shows its standard "debugging this browser" bar during that time.
